On March 25th 2002, in what became a legendary performance for Birmingham, Alabama's music history, Fugazi played an ferocious set at the historic (and haunted) Sloss Furnaces. The intensity of the show boiled over twice with band members jumping into the crowd to break up fights. At age 20, this was my first photo pass to photograph a touring band. I am eternally grateful to Tom B. and the band for the opportunity to document the set.
